🏎️ Suzuka Sprint – The Chaos, The Comeback, and the Blue Dragon Charge
The new season roared into life at Suzuka, with Blue Dragon Racing now in Tier 4 Blue. Orrak had a new teammate — Bruschetti — and the pair stuck with the mighty BMW M6. But let’s not pretend everything went smoothly.
⚡ Qualifying Disaster
Qualifying? A disaster. Orrak was stuck behind traffic like a pensioner in a Nissan Micra on a Sunday drive, losing two lightning-fast laps in the process. The result: Orrak starting in 11th, Bruschetti in 16th, and both probably muttering things that can’t be printed.
💥 Turn 1 Carnage
Then came Turn 1. Juhofin suddenly changed line, Orrak went to the inside to avoid trouble… only for Slavman in the Alfa Romeo to come steaming in like a freight train with no brakes. The result? Orrak was out, facing the wrong way, and somewhere in another postcode. Slavman waited and let him back through, but in an eight-lap sprint, being 10 seconds behind the pack is like trying to win a 100m sprint with your shoelaces tied together.
🔼 The Bruschetti Charge
Meanwhile, Bruschetti began his climb. Monkqon1 went wide at the Hairpin, JP was hunted down in his Jaguar, and then chaos erupted ahead — Juhofin and JP collided, gifting Bruschetti two places. He was into the top 10 by the end of lap two, having gained six spots already.
A few corners later, Darlington and Montaver crashed, and Bruschetti slipped by. Montaver’s filthy tyres betrayed him, and Bruschetti said “thank you very much” for P8 — eight positions gained in just three laps.
🔥 Orrak’s Fightback
Orrak, still fighting from the back, picked up places when ChuckNorris flew off the track and then again when Montaver spun. By lap three, the Blue Dragon duo were both deep in the hunt — Bruschetti attacking for P7, Orrak chasing down Beaumont for P11.
Then the BMW pressure cooker began to hiss. Bruschetti muscled his way past Tetropolis, then into sixth when Tetropolis lost control entirely. Orrak, still charging, took advantage of more chaos — Darlington and JP clashed, Beaumont cracked under pressure, and suddenly Orrak was in the top 10, hunting the reverse pole for the feature race.
By lap six, Orrak had pulled off a glorious late-braking move into the chicane on Darlington for P9, while Bruschetti had M.Goo’s McLaren in his sights. But the M6 tyres were crying for mercy. Goo’s better tyre management kept him ahead, while Orrak — who had actually saved his tyres — pulled another overtake on Monkqon1’s Toyota for eighth place.
🏁 Final Drama
The final lap began with Bruschetti still hassling P6. Then, in the very last chicane, Radiate 79 made a mistake — and Bruschetti snatched fifth place! Orrak crossed the line in eighth after a monumental fightback from being punted off at Turn 1.
Gin Tonyx won, xBenditx was second, Adz45 third. But the real story was the Blue Dragon Racing BMWs — both climbing through the chaos like hungry sharks smelling blood. From 16th to 5th for Bruschetti, from dead last to 8th for Orrak.
If this is how Tier 4 Blue starts, the rest of the season might just be absolutely ridiculous.
🏎️ Suzuka Feature – The Reverse Grid Battle
Reverse grid racing is motorsport’s way of saying, “Let’s see what happens if we release a herd of bulls into a china shop.”
Twenty laps at Suzuka. The top ten flipped. And right there, in prime position — Orrak1 starting third, Bruschetti in sixth.
🚦 The Start
On the front row: two Alfa Romeos, Slavman on pole, Tetropolis alongside. The lights go out… and before the first few corners were taken, Tetropolis’s internet packs its bags and leaves. Just like that, Orrak is in second without even overtaking a soul. Slavman’s on medium tyres, Orrak on hards — but the Alfa can’t get away. The BMW sits menacingly in his mirrors like a tax auditor.
By the end of lap one, Orrak’s still second, Bruschetti’s already up to fifth.
💥 Early Chaos
Lap two — chaos at the Hairpin. Juhofin barrels into Radiate 79, who somehow keeps it on the black stuff, but Juhofin ends up in the gravel. Bruschetti narrowly avoids becoming part of the wreckage and slips into fourth.
Lap three, Orrak’s attacking Slavman. The Alfa brakes far too early into Turn 1, almost causing a collision, and Radiate 79 is suddenly glued to both of them. But the order holds.
⏱️ Mid-Race Drama
The front four run in formation for five laps. Then, lap six — Bruschetti goes in too deep, runs wide, and waves two cars past before wrestling the M6 back under control. Lap seven is calm, but then a one-second penalty appears over Bruschetti’s head, and Adz45 plus Beaumont immediately cash in. He’s now eighth.
Lap nine, the tyres are shot. Bruschetti surrenders two more positions at the Hairpin to faster cars on better rubber. At the end of the lap, Orrak dives into the pits for fresh mediums. He rejoins tenth. Bruschetti’s seventh.
Out of pit lane, Orrak instantly slips past Gin Tonyx, but now faces a monstrous task — keeping the Jaguar behind. For five brutal laps, he holds on. But by lap fifteen, with the tyres beginning to fade again, Gin Tonyx finally blasts past.
Meanwhile, Bruschetti’s recovered to seventh and is hunting Beaumont, who’s carrying a half-second penalty. On the main straight, Bruschetti makes the move and takes sixth.
🏁 The Final Laps
Lap sixteen — Orrak in second, Bruschetti in sixth. Bruschetti inherits fifth when JP pits, while Orrak focuses on saving his tyres. But Slavman is coming — two seconds a lap faster thanks to a hard/soft gamble. By the end of lap eighteen, a six-second gap is now just two.
Then Slavman’s tyres give up. The gap holds. Adz45 catches him, giving Orrak breathing space for the final lap. But on that lap, Bruschetti loses a spot to Beaumont at Turn 1, the Alfa’s fresher tyres too much to resist.
Orrak’s tyres are gone. He’s desperate for the flag. Slavman’s are gone too, and with Adz crawling all over him, there’s no attack coming.
The chequered flag waves — Gin Tonyx wins again, Orrak1 takes a heroic second, Bruschetti finishes sixth. Slavman just hangs on to third ahead of Adz.
For the Blue Dragon Racing team, supported by the development of the new Sceleton 1.0 chassis solution, it’s points, glory, and one hell of a start to the season.
